Service Providers and Networking Opportunities

Over the past year, agents on RealTrade have come together to build the fastest growing community and marketplace for real estate while also helping to improve the industry. Our mission from the very beginning has been to democratize the U.S. real estate industry–empowering consumers and agents through our platform.

The RealTrade team is dedicated to continually improving the experience for RealTrade users. We’ve asked: how can we make the platform even more useful for everyone in real estate? Agents are an integral part of the industry, but what about the peripheral businesses that are essential to buying and selling a home? With this in mind, we decided to expand RealTrade, allowing trusted lenders, title companies, contractors, inspectors, and other service providers to easily network with RealTrade users and add value to the community.

One of the most effective ways to add value to your business–in real estate and in any sector–is through networking. When we interact with people that would benefit from a particular product, service, or connection, we want to inform them about it. That’s what RealTrade is all about. By adding service providers to our online community, we provide a space that expands beyond the mere act of selling or purchasing a home, and underscores all of the important services that factor into being a homeowner or seller. The businesses behind the scene are crucial to the real estate industry, and we want RealTrade users to have access to direct communication with them to create a great experience for everyone.

The benefits that come from networking are countless. No matter how long you’ve been in your field, there is always more information to learn and people to connect with. One of the best ways to gain knowledge in your industry is through talking to others and taking valuable insight from their experiences. A fresh perspective can allow you to see what is perhaps holding you back, and provide inspiration for new methods and approaches to your business. Many real estate professionals are interested in sharing their experience in the industry, so enhancing your business doesn’t require you to pay loads of money for informative resources. If you’re willing to listen and learn, your network can be a fruitful source of knowledge that aids in your growth, and allows you to help your clients more effectively.

By building a strong network, you inevitably give yourself access to more deals. An article from Tom Ferry notes that 84% of people trust recommendations from friends and family, which means that a solid network is always bigger than you think. The most important component of networking is building trust, because hiring professionals shouldn’t have to be a risk-filled endeavor. Real estate is made enjoyable by working with people that have great rapport so that agents can do their best work with each sale and remain focused on the end goal.

The purpose of opening up the RealTrade community to service providers, then, is not just to make real estate more efficient, but to make it more enjoyable. We’re building a digital world that takes the power from big tech and gives it back to the individuals that work hard to make the real estate industry such a rewarding and profitable enterprise. Big corporations want to gate-keep the expansive network of real estate professionals, but RealTrade’s mission is to break down these barriers—allowing networking to happen freely and efficiently, and helping everyone's business grow.
